This original work of art is painted on a 36" x 36" x 2" cradled art panel/board. It is a solid surface. I began this painting by creating an underlay of metals and then applying layers of intense transparent colors on top. The metals under the paint glint and sparkle like glass on fire. Depending on the angle of the light, the piece seems to dance with changing colors and internal light. It looks amazing in candle light too

Artist's Inspiration: In this painting the inspiration came from the materials I was experimenting with. I playing around for months experimenting with metals and polymers. I discovered combination that captured light and movement in a new and fascinating way.
