About Another day in the Canyon: I live near the mountains of Colorado and love the canyons, especially when the sun is going down and the light makes them glow. To me they feel alive. I wanted to capture that spirit in this painting by using vibrant colors and movements . I created this abstract painting using many layers of translucent acrylic paint  The sides are all hand-painted as well. It has a high gloss finish. It does not need a frame and arrives at your door ready to hang on your wall.

This abstract art painting has a big, colorful impact. 16" x 20" original acrylic on canvas in magenta, gold , purple and pink.
 I could have called this painting "tenacity" as I scraped it twice before I created what was in my head.
