The Artist's Inspiration:
The artist has visited Italy several times and always finds it truly inspiring.
These beautiful sunset landscape pictures are inspired by the soft light and rolling hills of Tuscany and the bounty of wine and fruits it produces.
In the 1500's there
were over 70 towers in San Gimignano,
They were owned by the aristocratic families like
the Medici and were used as defensive bases when
they were invaded. There are only 14 towers standing
today.
