This rose painting was first sculpted in very low relief before being painted in pure egg tempera made from crushed stone & egg yolk. For my ocher colors I use only natural ochers from the French quarries of Gargas and Rustrel, nested in a 12 miles long enclave, in the heart of the Luberon Mountains. The blue color is pure crushed lapis lazuli & the soft greens come from the earth around Verona Italy and from Bavaria.

We recently purchased 3 of your paintings (2 originals and 1 print) and we are extremely pleased with all of them.
